What is Impostor Game?
Impostor Game is a social deduction game where players are divided into two roles: Crew Members who share a secret word, and one Impostor who must blend in with the group.
Crew Members receive the same secret word and must discuss to identify who doesn’t belong. The Impostor gets “Impostor” instead and must pretend to be a crew member while avoiding direct questions about the word.
How to Play: Step-by-Step

Choose Your Theme - Select from 14 different themes including Software Development, Medicine, Food & Cooking, Sports, and more. Each theme contains 40+ carefully selected words.

Add Players - Add at least 3 players. Click on any player name to edit it. The game works best with 4-8 players.

Role Assignment - Click “Start Game” and each player will see a modal with their role. You have only 5 seconds to memorize your role.

The Discussion Phase - Once all players have seen their roles, discuss! Crew members ask questions to reveal the impostor.

Reveal the Impostor - When ready, click “Reveal Impostor” to see the results and who was the impostor.
